Tenderness

Following up the success of "This Is Garbage" in 2021, Gay Raccoon Art returns with a mature offering, with strong japes, patterned fibers, and found objects. This work embraces the much lacking tenderness in our culture, our interactions, the government, and within one's own self. Having suffered encephalitis, and foot issues that kept him in bed for months, he reveals the tenderness, needed to work through the obstacles. An emotional set of works share the spikes side of being tender, in a world that often overlooks the inherent strength found in tenderness.
